Chattahoochee Brick

This was once where convict laborers worked, and at times perished, making bricks that were used to build Atlanta. Now, Lincoln Terminal Company is proposing a fuel truck and train terminal for 45 acres of the site.

Volunteer Opportunities

Join Groundwork Atlanta and local community members for volunteer work days to help remove invasive plants along the Chattahoochee River or in Spink-Collins Park! Or support local farmers at Gratitude Botanical Farm!

The mission of Groundwork Atlanta is to achieve the sustained regeneration, improvement, and management of the physical environment by developing community-based partnerships, which empower people, businesses, and organizations to promote environmental, economic, and social well-being.
