  • AgLanta Grown 55 Trinity Avenue Southwest Atlanta, GA, 30303 United States (map)

The Outdoor Fresh Street Fest is happening in Atlanta! Take a tour of the City of Atlanta's market gardens that are a part of the "Grows-A-Lot '' program of AgLanta Grown, happening at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12th in spectacular summer weather. Explore, experience, and enjoy the City of Atlanta's unique and diverse farms tucked away in the heart of the city.:

Stop #1 Gratitude Botanical Farm

Stop #2 Outdoor Fresh Farm

Go on a small group guided tour to see the produce that we all enjoy purchasing at local farmers' markets. Learn about cut flowers and the growing of fruits and vegetables. See the harvest of small-scale crop production from community supported agriculture (CSA). Participants will experience first-hand the workings of planting, seeding and harvesting fresh produce and flowers with U-pick opportunities available for pre-purchase.

Tour includes locally-grown food, Georgia-produced adult beverages, Atlanta-based entertainment and an opportunity to shop and support locally-grown produce and products. All participants must be aged 21 and older. ID must be presented at bus boarding.

All proceeds will benefit the City of Atlanta's AgLanta "Grows-A-Lot" program to support urban gardens, urban farms, and food forests located on vacant, city-owned property, in an effort to close the food security gap and support sustainability. All stops are a cohort of the AgLanta “Grows-A-Lot” program. Visit https://bit.ly/OUTDOORFRESH for tickets.

This tour is offered by AgLanta Grown in conjunction with the annual AgLanta Eats Festival, happening on Monday, Aug. 21st at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
